Japanese finance app Moneytree raises $9 million to develop enterprise enterprise

(The Bridge) – Tokyo-based Moneytree, the Japanese startup offering an asset managing app and cloud-based accounting soutions, launched on Tuesday that it has raised a whole of 1 billion yen (nearly $9 million US) of their latest funding spherical.
The spherical was led by SBI Funding with participation from Mizuho Capital, SMBC Enterprise Capital, Salesforce Ventures, Fukuoka Know-how Companions, Hiroshima Enterprise Capital, Senshu Ikeda Capital, and the UK’s primary asset administration agency Baillie Gifford. This spherical follows that of the company’s series A round from October 2015.
With the latest funds, Moneytree plans to roll out new choices to three merchandise: their self-titled non-public asset administration app, the “Moneytree Work Keihi Seisan (Expense Reimbursement)” service that permits clients to easily resolve their payments, along with their “Moneytree Work Houjin Kouza (Corporate Accounts)” that lets clients browse their firm accounts and calculate payments on mobile.
