Hyderabad: The state authorities on Friday admitted that literacy value in TS was decrease than the nationwide widespread. Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, replying to a question inside the Legislative Council from the Congress, said that it was a incontrovertible fact that literacy value in Telangana was 66.54 per cent as in opposition to the nationwide widespread of 73 per cent.

Mr Srihari said to boost literacy value, the federal authorities was implementing Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and Saakshar Bharat Programme inside the state. “The programmes aim to enrol children in schools,” he outlined.
